In the Federal Republic of Germany, four Scout and Guide Associations belong either to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) with about 10 Mio members, to the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) with about 25 Mio members or to both.

| The BdP is the inter-denominational partner in both Federations. | The DPSG is - with its 100.000 members - the largest catholic children- and youth-organization in Germany. | The PSG accounts for about 20,000 members nationwide and is part of the International Guiding Movement. | The VCP is an association of protestant girls and boys. It is open to young people of other or no faith. For adults, VCP offers a variety of own activities. |
